Vegas Rio reveals plans to offer discounts to locals

Home to the World Series of Poker, and located just off the Strip on Flamingo Road, is the stunning Rio casino-hotel. In a new move announced by Vice President Jeff Solomon, the Rio plans to put into action a series of discounts specifically tailored to attract local Vegas residents. Discounts for locals will include 50% off at the hotel buffet, 25% off at restaurants, 20% off at the hotel’s salon and ticket deals for various stage shows. For an hour at the slots or casino gaming tables, locals who sign up for a Caesar’s Entertainment Total Rewards Card will also be eligable to recieve a $100 reimbursement for an hour of gameplay.

With a fall in profits across the board from local Las Vegas residents towards the end of 2009, the Rio is keen to increase their visitor volume as much as possible in the coming New Year.
