The two teams have recently played each other in Bergen and it was a crazy 6-2 for the hosts. Now it’s the revenge time some would say, but Odd Grenland don’t look powerful enough these days to look like a decent option. Morten Fevang and Eriksen are still injured and the sale of Torgeir Børven to Valerenga should be a bad thing, as he was arguably their best striker and also their goal-scorer. Güven looks like their only decent solution up-front but he was short at scoring so far and it’s a big question if he is enough to lead them in that department.
Brann look better from any point if view and their recent success also brought great expectations. The only thing I am worried is that people seem to overreact and you can see that watching their spread, that was originally set as +0.25 and you can only get the level ball at the time of writing. So of course, Brann +0.25 against modest Odd would have been a good option today but we are too late for that.
The bet I really like is the under instead. Set at 3, I think that’s an off the mark total. Odd Grenland are not exactly an ultra-attacking team, playing 4-3-3 at home which often becomes a 4-5-1 against better-rated teams with two wingers playing behind the striker (please note that they don’t even have a 100% pure striker for that position). Brann, on the other hand, prefer a 4-5-1 system on the road and despite the recent results, they are not as attacking as it seems. I think we’ve got some good chances for an under tonight and I’m gonna go for the more risky and also more rewarding option.
Bet: Odd Grenland – Brann under 2.5 @ 2.55 PinnacleSports
